This day trip has it all as you experience the sites, tastes, history, and fun that Clarksville has in store.

Start your day off in Clarksville by visiting Miss Lucille’s Marketplace (2231-L Madison Street), which is a huge, unique antique store with multiple booths and vendors. Enjoy a cup of Nashville coffee as you step back in time, browsing historical treasures. The market opens at 9am and you can easily spend 1-2 hours.

Beachaven Vineyards & Winery (1100 Dunlop Lane) opens at 11am and is a 15-minute drive down the road from Miss Lucille’s. We enjoyed speaking with the staff and learning about Beachaven as we tasted their wines. Be sure to ask about the champagne room.

Old Glory Distilling (451 Alfred Thun Road) opens at 9am and is another 5-minutes away. Depending on what time you start your day in Clarksville, you may want to flip Old Glory and Beachaven due to opening times. We recommend enjoying a flight tasting of their Tennessee Spirits and one of their craft cocktails afterwards.

Time for Lunch

Depending on your time frame and interests, we suggest three lunch options to choose from or better yet, experience all three as a progressive midday meal. They’re only a 20-minute drive away from Old Glory All three offer tastes that are unique to Clarksville and are within a short walk of each other. Might we suggest an appetizer & a craft beer at Blackhorse, an entree and wine or cocktail at The Mailroom, and top it off with a yummy dessert in a mason jar at Strawberry Alley.

Wrapping up Your Day Trip

Depending on the day and time of day, we have two options on how you may want to wrap up your day trip to Clarksville. Both involve some physical activity.

If neither of those options are your cup of tea and you are feeling lucky, drive towards the Kentucky border to visit Oak Grove Racing and Gaming (777 Winners Way in Oak Grove, KY). It’s a 25 minute drive from your lunch area and they offer over 1,200 gaming machines.
